Biohazard Signs

Biohazard signs are used to signify the actual or potential presence of a biohazard and to identify equipment, containers, rooms, materials, experimental animals, or combinations thereof, which contain, or are contaminated with, viable hazardous agents, per OSHA 1910.145(e)(4) standards. While working with or around specific biohazards, follow precautions on Biohazard Signs to stay healthy and safe.

In today's world, the spread of diseases happen very quickly. Substances that are dangerous to humans and the environment, such as biological or chemical substances are considered to be biohazards and can be unknowingly dangerous. Biohazards can be found in anything from human blood and other body fluids, sharps, animal waste, chemotherapy waste, and genetically altered organisms.
