Non Potable Water Signs

Non potable water has many uses; however drinking the water isn't one of them. Water that has not been examined or properly treated as an approved water source should not be consumed - it's just not safe. Companies use non potable water for car washes, cooling towers, and spraying lawns. According to The Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) 29CFR 1910.141 (b) (2) (1), "Outlets for non-potable water, such as water for industrial or firefighter purposes, shall be posted or otherwise marked in a manner that will indicate clearly that the water is unsafe and is not to be used for drinking, washing of the person, cooking, washing of food..."

Protect others unknowingly ingesting recycled water by posting Non Potable Water Signs wherever contaminated water could be consumed. Ensure that your message is easily understood, regardless of the language, with bilingual Non Potable Water Signs. Remind others not to drink the water with OSHA and ANSI approved Non Potable Water Signs.
