WHMIS Labels

WHMIS stands for The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), and is Canada's national workplace standard. WHMIS Labels communicate hazardous material in the workplace and reinforce a worker's right to know and use necessary precautions. Keep others safe and informed by placing WHMIS Labels wherever chemicals are located.

Follow the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) guidelines for labeling health hazard information by using WHMIS Labels. Per CCOHS, suppliers are responsible for labeling WHMIS-controlled products with WHMIS Labels.
